The Security Department is the Foundation's first line of defense when it comes to hostile threats and attacks. They provide a shield to the foundation and its staff and are responsible for the safety of the foundation overall. The Security department deals with mainly hostile and test subject related threats and also has similar sub departments that specialize in certain things similar to MTF.
This document aims to teach all information that will be of use to Security Department members as they perform their daily tasks. Questions should be placed in #questions_and_answers.
All Security members are expected to follow the Security Commandments and SD Regulations. Not following Security Commandments or Regulations will result in a punishment.
Respect - All Security Members are to always act respectively towards any other member in the foundation, towards any other member on-site, and on official communication servers. They are never to intentionally disrespect other members of any kind.
Responsibility - All Security Members are to take responsibility for their actions during their time serving in the department. Any wrongdoings, or other actions are to be taken responsibility of.
Sportsmanship - All Security Members are to work together to achieve goals and utilize teamwork to its maximum potential. Causing unnecessary dramas, arguments, or otherwise seeking to cause disorder within the department or foundation is strictly prohibited.
Camaraderie - All Security Members are required to uphold trust and teamwork within the department’s ranks. No member of the security department is to intentionally hurt, cause distress or harass any other member of the community.
Command & Authority - All Security Members are to always follow any orders given by staff positioned higher on the Security Department Hierarchy.
Negligence of Duties -Any Security Member refusing or avoiding their given duties will be charged with Negligence.
Professionalism and Maturity - All Security Members are to act as mature and as professional as possible whilst on the Security Department team.
(Only exception to break this commandment is by receiving approval from a Security Deputy Director+).
This also includes what you wear on-site.
Chat usage - All Security Members on-site are not subject to an Oath Of Silence. However security personnel are to speak with near-perfect grammar, and are not to use slang language and shortcuts such as “pls”, “u”, etc. Security members may also not use faces such as “:D”, “:)”, etc.
AFK on-site - Security Members are only allowed to go afk in their respective spawn location, if the AFK period is more than 5 minutes, they are to leave the game or switch teams.
Failure to Act - Any Security Member failing to act under a direct order of command members (O5, Security Command, Task Force Command, etc.) or failing to react to any situation (Breach, Riot, etc.) will be subject to negligence of duties.
“Failing to act” Is defined as the failure to do any action (standing around, doing nothing, ignoring orders, etc.) whilst not adhering or following procedures stated in Security or main foundation guidelines.
If you believe an order was against regulations, report it to the Ethics Committee. This doesn’t apply to members of the O5 Council, you are to follow their orders without question.
Regulations
REGULATIONS ARE AS IMPORTANT AS THE 10 COMMANDMENTS.
All Security Members are to follow Foundation Documentation at all times, including the COE, and SD Master Guidelines.
Equipment is not to be abused by members of the Security Department at any time.
Base Security Members are not allowed to interfere with hostage situations unless requested by the Security Response Unit, the Military Police, or Security High Command.
Security Personnel interacting with docile SCPs must interact in a calm respectful manner. Interactions should not interfere with on-site duties, unless requested otherwise.
Security Personnel may not emote while on-duty during any time
Gesture emotes(waving, pointing, saluting, etc.) are exempt from this rule and may be used.
Security Personnel should not intentionally put themselves in harm's way in order to justify an action which would be otherwise prohibited.
Security Department Personnel are prohibited from retaliating against any individual who shoots them in crossfire.
To ensure all Security Department personnel are being held to their utmost potential, Security Sergeant+ are able to issue punishments. Punishments are able to be handed out for breaking the Security Department Master Guidelines, Code of Ethics, and any other legislative document under the Foundation.
Warnings will reset after two months; however, if the individual commits repeat offenses within this period, higher-level punishments will be issued based on previous warnings. After the two-month period, punishments may be less severe, but Security Department (SD) Command reserves the right to use prior warnings for higher-level punishments if the individual continues to be a repeat offender.
Security Department Members who receive Jumping Jacks and said hours of Desk duty. as part of their punishment will have 2 week to complete them. Failure to do so will result in a harsher punishment.
This rule does not apply if you're getting this appealed with the Internal Tribute Department. But do not leave the Security Department Server or the Group.
Security Command may change the punishment or punishment level given if deemed necessary.
Security Corporal+ may be punished by an extra punishment or punishment level at the discretion of Security Command.

Level I (L1)
An individual is allowed one written warning and up to jumping jacks and desk duty punishments. Warnings will reset after two months; however, if the individual commits repeat offenses within this period, higher-level punishments will be issued based on previous warnings. After the two-month period, punishments may be less severe, but Security Department (SD) Command reserves the right to use prior warnings for higher-level punishments if the individual continues to be a repeat offender.
> 1st Offence- Written Warning.
> 2nd Offence - 20 Jumping Jacks and one (1) Hour of Desk duty.
> 3rd Offence - 40 Jumping Jacks and two (2) Hour of Desk duty.
Desk duty requires the offender to report to any designated desk on-site and remain there for the required number of hours. During this time, a Security Command member and/or must monitor the offender online. While on desk duty, the offender may answer questions from Foundation personnel and respond to any nearby threats, and they are under the supervision of Security Command and/or Military Police Junior Constable and above.

Level II (L2)
If an individual exceeds their limit of three Level 1 warnings, if deemed necessary by SD Command, or an offense that is grounds for immediate L2, they will receive a Level 2 punishment, which includes temporary suspension from SD and any detachments. Suspensions may range from 2 to 7 days, depending on the severity of the regulation(s) violated, and must be administered fairly.
> Suspension for 2-7 days along with a re-education. Suspended users may not attend trainings while on suspension. No matter how long a Individual member of the SD is suspended for they must get re-educated on the SD Orientation and General Training.

Level III (L3)
If an individual fails to meet the standards of their rank, accumulates multiple warnings, or offense that is grounds for immediate L3 they may be demoted by 2 ranks and will be required to complete all associated requirements again.

Level IV (L4)
If an individual continues to exhibit problematic behavior or commits an offense warranting an immediate Level 4 (L4) punishment, they may return to the Security Department either after the designated suspension period or immediately following it.

Level V (L5)
If an individual has committed an offense that is grounds for immediate L5, or offense that is grounds for immediate L5, they will be removed from the department.

Site protocols are activated using the On-Site terminals around the facility. While on-site, you will encounter some of these.
If too many members of the Security Department are present at a select location, the highest-ranking individual in there will take the lead into creating new positions and failure to do so may result in disciplinary actions.
While these positions are NOT required, they are recommended to reduce the risk of death.
SRU may move SD to better positions if needed.
Some areas are restricted to members of the Security Department. Some of these areas may be accessed under temporary conditions for the following reasons. If the conditions are no longer valid SD are to exit the area as soon as possible. Only one of these conditions have to be valid to you to be able to enter; rank restrictions cannot be bypassed unless you are acting as a Detachment Member.
The Cleanrooms
Off Limits unless SD is escorting a test,
Base SD may only enter the Cleanrooms if MP/SRU are offline or unavailable to terminate escaped Class-D or Hostiles.

The Security Department has a variety of uniforms upon reaching higher ranks within the Security Department. The following is a list of each rank and regulations of wearing uniforms.

The Security Department has a variety of weapons at their disposal upon reaching higher ranks within the Security Department and its department detachments. The following is a list of each rank and which weapons they will receive.
Base Security:

The Security Department and its detachments are given a variety of different utilities and equipment while on-site, with each serving a specific purpose.

The Security Department has 3 detachments, which are specialized in their own field and line of work. The 3 detachments are the Military Police, the Special Response Unit, and Combat Medics. Detachment apps or tryouts are hosted on a Case by Case basis by the discretion of Subdivision Central Command/SD High Command.
The Special Response Unit is the rapid response team of the Security Department. They are responsible for handling combat related events that base Security Personnel are unable to handle with use of specialized equipment.
The Special Response Unit has a limit of 50 Agents.
The Special Response Unit duties consist of riot response, hostage negotiations, rogue personnel interception and capture, and containment of SCPs.
The Military Police is the enforcement unit of the Security Department.
The Military Police works closely with the Ethics Committee in order to apprehend rule breakers.
The Military Police does not have a limit of the amount of Constables.
The Military Police Duties consist of enforcement of the Code of Ethics, pursuit, capture and detainment of rogue personnel, assisting the Ethics Committee and control of the Clean rooms.
The Combat Medics is a detachment within the Security Department that has been tasked with medical support, tactical suppression, defensive/structural combat, battlefield logistics, emergency response.
The Combat Medic's does not have a limit of the amount of personnel.
The Combat Medic's duties consist of responding to various on site emergencies to provide rapid and tactical medial assistance.
Security Agent+ are only allowed to join 1 detachment If a individual wants to progress within a detachment they must reach the rank of Security Specialist.
(Quota from Medium Command and below does not start until the site releases).
While the Security Department currently has a 3 hour per month quota (Security Department Command also has their own quotas that they must fulfill) Each of the department detachments has its own set quota of expectations, trainings, and activity requirements that members must follow.
Security Department Quota:
3 Hour of Onsite Activity Per Month.
Security Command holds you to the right to follow any and all regulations listed in this document. Attempting and using any loopholes in these or other guidelines is subject to and grounds for punishment.
