Members of the Security Department have a multitude of active duties that they have at their disposal.
The Security Department is primarily responsible for monitoring the Class-D Containment Zone (CDC) and preventing potential Class-D uprisings. Security personnel are required to stay within the CDC until it is confirmed to be secure, after which they can attend to other tasks. Although there are no designated posts within the CDC, team members must ensure a strategic and orderly presence throughout the zone.
Security Department personnel are prohibited from positioning themselves on the rooftops of any buildings within the CDC.
Security Department members are not allowed to take positions on the rooftops of any buildings inside the CDC.
Security Corporals and above have the authority to recall all Security Department personnel stationed outside the CDC to provide reinforcement as necessary. However, Military Police and the Security Response Units are exempt from this order and follow their own protocols.
Security Cadets are assigned to the (Civil Area), with a primary focus on guarding the lounge and prioritizing the security of the upper levels of the CDC.
While these positions are NOT required, they are recommended to reduce the risk of death.
SRU may move SD to better positions if needed.
Once the Class-D Containment Zone has a staffing ratio of at least one Security Department member for every two Class-D personnel, security teams may begin patrolling the site to identify any hostile threats or potential escapes.
While Security Department members are allowed to patrol any area, they must comply with the limitations set forth in Section 3—Area Restrictions. During patrols, they are under the authority of the entities responsible for the safety of that specific area. The designated authority for each area is detailed below:
Security Department personnel are required to follow the chain of command at all times, regardless of the area they are in.
While on patrol, Security Department personnel are expected to stay active and avoid prolonged idling. Their attention should be directed towards patrolling key areas or holding positions at strategic vantage points within the location.
All Security Department members have access to the TV system. The following regulations must be followed at all times:
All Security Department members may use the TV system.
MP (1) and SRU (2) will have priority.
Security Department personnel may only idle (passively and proactively) on the TV system if the CDCZ is stable and staffed.
This does not apply during the Blood Moon Protocol.
Security Department personnel should use the CCTV system to aid MTF if requested.
The access points for the TV system are in the ____
The Security Department is responsible for escorting personnel during tests and interviews.
Security Cadets may only escort tests in the Clean Rooms, and must be supervised by a Security Specialist or higher.
Security Agents and above are permitted to escort tests in both the Clean Rooms and MCZ (Medium Containment Zone) without supervision.
Security Specialists and above are authorized to escort tests in the Clean Rooms, MCZ, and HCZ without supervision.
Escorting is only permitted if a Security Corporal or higher has deemed the CDC stable. However, higher-ranking personnel or the Security Response Unit can override this decision and declare the CDC unstable.
Escort duties must be postponed if any of the following conditions are met:
A Blood Moon, Rising Phoenix, or Gas Dispersion event has ended less than 5 minutes ago.
There is an ongoing Blood Moon, Uprising, or Rising Phoenix event.
The CDC is understaffed, or the number of Security personnel required for the test would leave the CDC understaffed relative to the number of Class-Ds.
The CDC is deemed unstable.
While escorting, Security personnel must never leave Class-D subjects unattended at any point during the test.
When a Foundation Staff member requests a specific number of Class-D personnel and Security, acknowledge the request by responding with "/e Copy." Note that Testing Host must request a 1:2 ratio, meaning one Security Department member for every two Class-D personnel.
Proceed to cuff and escort the requested number of Class-D individuals to an available briefing room. Security must always prioritize regular Class-D over those classified as SC’d. Additionally, Security is required to prioritize individuals higher on the testing queue unless they are not present at the guard line.
When escorting a single Class-D, Security may use the regular doors. However, when escorting more than one Class D, Security must use the Transfer Gate. If needed, request another Security Department member to open the gates.
All Class-D involved in any event must be disarmed. Security members are to brief the Class-Ds on the following protocols. If a Class-D declines after the briefing, they must be returned to the Class-D Containment Zone (CDCZ).
Once the Class-Ds are briefed and compliant, deliver them to the host who requested them and begin escorting them towards either the MCZ or the Clean Rooms.
The testing hierarchy is as follows:
Security Department > Military Police > Special Response Unit > Combat Medics
Should a unit of a higher priority be unable to escort an event, the next highest group will be responsible for escorting the event.
If going to Clean Rooms

Wait for MP to verify that the test solidified.
MP will prepare any SCPs needed for a specific test.
MP will lead the test to the proper testing location.
Once the test has finished, MP will confirm all personnel are safe to return to previous activities.
MP will return the SCP.
Base Security will escort any Class-D remaining back to the CDC.
If Military Police are not present at the Clean Rooms checkpoint, Base SD will take over the test immediately.
If going to the MCZ

Scepter-7 will handle the controls of opening the doors and other containment cells. Do not touch anything unless requested by Scepter-7.
Security will overlook the test and make sure no Class-D try to escape.
After the test is concluded, the Scepter-7 will handle CD termination.
